The Bearded Ladies mission is to raise funds to participate in the AIDS/LifeCycle and help put an end to HIV/AIDS. All funds raised go towards HIV/AIDS research and services that benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Our Story

2019 marks the fourth year in a row that the Bearded Ladies have participated in the AIDS/LifeCycle ride — a 7-day, 545-mile bike journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for HIV/AIDS programs and research at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. The Bearded Ladies, originally started in 2015, has grown steadily since its inception and has raised over $88,700 for life-saving HIV/AIDS research and services. This year, we are proud to announce that the 2019 Bearded Ladies are comprised of six diverse, veteran riders, located throughout California, who are dedicated to ride again and #BeardUpFightAIDS. We invite you to learn more about us by visiting each team member’s individual fundraising page, and we ask for your support for our upcoming ride which will be held June 2nd - 8th, 2019. Remember that no donation is too small and every little bit helps. All donations directly benefit HIV/AIDS program services for individuals most in-need, and bring us all one step closer to ending HIV/AIDS! Thank you in advance for your love and support and please contact us if you have any questions. We are so grateful for all of you and excited for another amazing year together!
